Free but cost me $260

I am actually stunned that I am writing this about an Emirates product.

I tried to book a long haul first class ticket on the app. When I got to the pay screen it kept rejecting the payment. I checked with my bank and no charge had even been attempted. I then went to the website and booked successfully.

When I went to the manage booking section on the website I HAD TWO IDENTICAL BOOKINGS WITH DIFFERENT CODES AND MY CREDIT CARD WAS CHARGED TWICE.

I immediately phoned Emirates and they could only refund one of the tickets within several weeks. MY CREDIT CARD WAS MAXED OUT!!!

When the refund finally came through it was $264 less than what I had paid. Because the ticket originated in South Africa it was charged in Rand and refunded several weeks later in Rand. During that time the currency fluctuated so I was out the money. EMIRATES REFUSES TO MAKE UP THE DIFFERENCE WHICH I CONSIDER FRAUD SINCE THEIR APP FAILED!!!
